MYSTICS, MUTTS and MOONPIES

 

is all to benefit Weimaraner Rescue Of North Texas! And  every dog or cat who is looking and hoping for that forever home.

 

We started this festival to help Weim Rescue meet some of it's financial needs and responsibilities. When I was looking for a therapy dog to help me work with individuals---I happened upon the most intuitive soul in a dog suit that I could have imagined. He happened to come into this world as a Weim. A battered history landed him in rescue where I was lucky enough to bump into this gentle spirit and take him home and into my heart. Three more WEIMS were to follow.

 

But they all could have been in any suit. It is the spirit that leads them into our hearts. In honor of every animal spirit who needs to find a safe haven in a new home---we celebrate this day. We all come together to spend time and share fun. Every rescue group is invited to come, make some money for their babies and share stories, ideas and friendships.
